Poppy Craft Ideas for Adults

The red poppy has become a symbol of war remembrance the world over. People in many countries wear the poppy to remember those who died in war or who still serve. During the First World War, red poppies were among the first plants to spring up in the devastated battlefields of northern France and Belgium. In soldiers' folklore, the vivid red of the poppy came from the blood of their comrades soaking the ground. In Australia, wreaths of poppies are traditionally placed at memorials and honour boards on ANZAC Day.

Since we're all housebound this year for Anzac day, we found you our favourite craft ideas inspired by poppies. We hope this gets your creative juices flowing!
